Dubbed in English.this is a damiano damini so youll expect a certian level of social realism and it does not disappoint. its a damming film about the stranglwhold of the mafia in palermo where this is set. See it,you wont be disapponited,but you will not feel better about life. This is not fantasy godfather stuff but the real hopeless raw variety. In a funny way its a hym to humanity. Casting a talented ensemble cast featuring Kevin Leadingham, Chanda Willis, Brent Beebe, Deborah Wolff and others, his approach was to satirize independent filmmakers trying to ride the coat-tails of the original film. "There were several independent groups here in L.A. all jumping on the "Blair Witch" bandwagon shooting spoofs as quickly as they could to cash in on the original's success... to me, that's what was spoofable... filmmakers haphazardly rushing to ride the coat-tails of something else, unable to come up with their own original ideas, so that became our focus". The result was 10 actors given only snippets of their character motivations and plot points as the shoot progressed right up to the surprise ending, in a similar stlye to the original but this time played for laughs. "Our story definitely has echoes of the real movie, with our characters trying to hunt down a local legend. But we also loved the original Blair Witch Project, so the idea of other people spoofing it with so many of the same jokes is what inspired us to poke fun at them instead."In 1987 a disillusioned door to door orange salesman horrifically murders his first victim. Move forward 27 years and a land developer is buying an orange grove. He and his 3 friends plan a fishing trip to get his head around the pending transaction, unbeknownst to them, his estranged wife and her new boyfriend have also chosen the very same location for a break.
