A Korean journalist living in Hong Kong, returns to Korea to cover the outbreak of the war. He leaves behind the woman he loves. He returns three years later, but many things have changed for both of them Tom (Lanning Beckman), an amoral grifter comes to Montreal during the summer of Expo. He picks up Vicky (Astri Torvik), a bored librarian and begins to teach her the ways to steal and swindle.
