A young woman becomes the stepmother of four grown children. One daughter is jealous of the young interloper while one of the sons falls in love with her, but with patience she sets about winning their respect
John is a shipmaster on a very small transportation boat which regularly attends a very small harbour to buy food, actually from Anna's father. She is a waitress and has a young daughter. She tells John that her name is Anita. They have met many times, but their first personal meeting is when both are swimming in early morning. John is asked to have morning coffee with Anna's family. He invites her and her child to a trip to Zoo in Copenhagen. Both have genuine feelings for each other. There are lovely three-some scenes when John is proud of "being" a father, and beautiful love scenes. Christina Schollin's naked body is cute but never obtrusive. But at that time girls were depreciated if they "gave in" too soon. So these scenes repeatedly alternate with hot misunderstandings, well-known exactly when two people with genuine feelings fear misunderstandings and try to preclude them. In the last minutes of the movie, when each has left the "harbour village" on the next day, and John has learned the real name of "Anita" and calls her from the boat, both realise without saying anything about it, that this is the beginning of a long relationship based on mutual feelings.
Syria is dominated by the Romans. During a summit of Tibullo, Jezel and Tisba, two very skilled thieves who "work" in the crowd, are pursued by some guards but are able to escape. Jezel takes refuge in Ammon's potter's house and invades his daughter, Miriam. As old Mannaen kidnaps the girl, Jezel and Tisba save her and go together in a cave, shelter of Syrian rebels. Near is the legion of the Vitellio console and the two thieves steal the imperial insignia. Mannaen, to attract the romance's sympathy, reveals their refuge and, after a furious battle, also Jezel is imprisoned. Condemned to death because he does not want to reveal where the insignia is hidden, he is about to be baptized when Tibullo recognizes his son in him, kidnapped him by the pirates.

A pair of brothers, Baby Toto and Pietro, sons of different mothers, live stealing suitcases at the Termini Station in Rome. After a theft they discover that the stolen suitcase they got from an apparent sweet old lady actually contains a corpse. In an attempt to discard the suitcase they mistakenly exchange it with the one of two German hitchhikers, Helga and Inga. Forced to retrieve the “corpus delicti” they are discovered by Count Mischa who blackmail them: in exchange for his silence with the police, they will help him to kill his rich wife. After killing the woman, and following a binge of marjuana mistaken for lettuce by the brothers, Baby Toto will turn into a sadist serial killer. After killing the Count and a half-dozen people, he will soon start torturing his brother.
