Part time taxi driver and full time bum Ki-hoon lives one day at a time. His only wish is to live happily ever after with Hyun-hee. One day, Ki-hoon runs over a man while driving at dawn and it is only the beginning of his troubles. That same day, before the car accident, a corrupt businessman's mistress and her lover are hiding in a hotel room after having taken off with the man's dirty funds. But their happiness is short lived when things go haywire due to the man's cronies, cops and mistaken identities. As hitmen, cops, and the two lovers get entangled, one of them runs out with the money. But soon he runs into Ki-hoon's taxi and the man is killed on the spot. Ki-hoon thinks his luck has changed for the best when discovers the cash and leaves it in the care of Hyun-hee as she works her shift in a convenience store. Now the hitmen and the cops are hot on the trail of Ki-hoon. The paths of these unfortunate individuals come to a head at the convenience store
永宁科(🕍)技大(⛩)学(xué )大四(sì )毕业生韩青，毕(bì )业生相(🍫)应(yīng )到农(nóng )村(🔽)是西部积(🐇)极的(❕)(de )情况(kuàng )下(📱)，受到(🤵)上着大学(🌰)，为父(🍑)(fù )亲治(zhì )病的陈橘红影响(xiǎng )，赴(fù )农村实习担任村(🍀)官。
This was a beautifully filmed BBC miniseries of the famed Mark Twain story, with a terrific cast including John Bowe as the devious Earl of Hertford, Peter Jeffrey (sadly in one of the great actor's last parts) as the kind Duke of Norfolk, James Purefoy as Miles Hendon and Keith Michell reprising the role of King Henry VIII that, of course, he was celebrated for playing in the legendary 1970s series "The Six Wives of Henry VIII". Youngster Philip Sarson played both Prince Edward and Tom Canty, and although he was just a boy he made quite a good job of the roles, especially when you take into consideration some of the distinguished actors with whom he had to share scenes. Perhaps he could have become a fine actor in his own right, but I suspect he has chosen another career path since. I would certainly watch this adaptation again if it was repeated.
Eating café-owner Reg(inald) and photographer Julia had only one date, because mutual friends tried to match them, and accepted to become their son's godparents. But when that couple dies, their last will names the two joined guardians of their godson Waylon, not his retired great-aunt Marie with whom he lived. They are prepared to accept, but since it isn't binding a judge will decide, and first wants social workers reports and rules the schoolboy is not moving out of the parental house, they must move in and take on its mortgage. Despite all their efforts and Waylons positive response, there are serious challenges...
