Introducing itself as a documentary on the beautiful Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in Paris, it quickly morphs into a wonderfully inventive fiction about a pair of star-crossed lovers whose universe becomes entirely invested in the park — a paradise of cliffs, lakes, bridges, waterfalls, grottos, trees and gardens, centred on the magnificent Temple de la Sybille, built during Napoleon III’s redevelopment of the city in the 1860s. The glamorous, screwball adventures of Carole, Camille and Sophie, three girls looking for love at a film festival. Stuck in arrested development, they’(🈹)d rather hunt for men at parties than see films. Sophie desperately tries to track down a sexy up-and-coming actor, Camille dreams of a romantic idyll and Carole "just wants to get her rocks off".
