In DARROW, Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey portrays Clarence Darrow, the daring American lawyer who took on some of the most difficult and groundbreaking cases around the turn of the 20th century. Called the "Lawyer for the Damned" by some, Darrow's defences of the Pullman railroad strike, the Leopold and Loeb murder trial, and the Scopes monkey trial earned him the status of an authentic American hero. The film also features Chris Cooper as well as Calista Flockhart and Donal Logue in early screen appearances.
The evil vampire villain Radu returns to his hometown of Prejnar, after spending years in exile. He steals the precious blood stone which is said to be bleeding from all saints, from his father and kills him. Meanwhile two American schoolgirls teams up with a local girl for a work on Roumanian culture. Radu becomes attracted to them but runs into trouble when his brother Stephan helps the girls
