Torsten wasn't looking for anything. He just bought the lottery ticket to keep the peace with his lotto-enthusiastic co-workers. Eventually, he's forced to think about what to do with such a big win, when his ticket hits the jackpot. And he soon realizes, that he is the only one not having an answer to that question. His wife Susanne already knows what to do with their new found wealth. His son Lutz also makes plans. The shock-wave of this "lottobomb" tears Torsten's orderly world apart and leaves him with the question of who he really is.

Jennifer Shannon can always find a diamond in the rough, when it comes to garage sales, that is. When a string of burglaries hits her town, Jennifer's keen eye for detail and her natural problem solving instincts even help her see the connection between these burglaries and local garage sales! Jennifer works with Detective Adam Iverson to investigate her theory that the perpetrators of the burglaries are fellow garage sale regulars. The case escalates to dangerous levels when Jennifer discovers the dead body of her friend. Even though the deceased's husband, Ben Douglas, finds nothing missing in their house, and the police label the death as accidental, Jennifer suspects that the death may be related to the burglaries.

Eryka travels to Spain from the African Sahrawi refugee camps where she has been shooting a documentary. On arriving she discovers that her boyfriend, Marc, has vanished hang-gliding over the ocean. She meets David, her boyfriend's roommate and archaeologist co-worker. As they search the coastal area a taboo but intense attraction develops - until Marc reappears, convincing Eryka that she has just woken up from a recurring post-trauma nightmare. Together with Marc and very much in love, Eryka dives fearlessly into a sweet death-bound dream.
