While traveling there, he comes to her assistance, and drives her to his mansion. Once there, after settling down for the night, she claims that she is being watched by a woman, who is later identified to be Joseph's deceased wife, Shirley. With Joseph refusing to believe in ghosts, Devyani will encounter more horror when she starts reading Shirley's diary.
