在(zài )回乡的(de )途中，青年高(gāo )山和夫(fū )（萩原聖人 饰）邂逅了一个名为真罗崇神朱雀教(jiāo )的新兴(xìng )宗教团(tuán )体。教(jiāo )主（下(xià )條正巳(sì ) 饰）神(shén )奇的法(fǎ )力以及负责人司马大介（ビートたけし 饰(shì )）极具(jù )蛊惑力(lì )的宣传(chuán )让和夫(fū )颇为(📛)好(hǎo )奇。虽(suī )然事后(hòu )知晓这只是一个空手套白狼的小团伙，不过他还(hái )是志愿(yuàn )加入其(qí )中，并(bìng )主动为(wéi )教主的(de )表演打(dǎ )托。与(yǔ )此同时，以司马和吴（岸部一徳 饰）为首(shǒu )的经营(yíng )派越来(lái )越不满(mǎn )意教主(zhǔ )的种种(zhǒng )表现。一番拳(quán )脚过后(hòu )，教主被司马打跑，而和夫却被推举为新(xīn )任教主(🚊)(zhǔ )。司马(mǎ )等人不(bú )断扩张(zhāng )团体，和夫则(zé )在虔诚(chéng )派驹村哲治（玉置浩二 饰）的督促下展开了艰苦(kǔ )的修行(háng )……
Senator Isaak Kohler shoots and kills Professor Winter in a crowded restaurant, while Winter is dining with the struggling idealistic young lawyer, Felix Spat. Kohler puts up no defense and is sentenced to twenty years. Kohler then gets his daughter Helene to pay the reluctant Spat to reinvestigate the case, on the assumption that Kohler is innocent. The newspapers pick up on this and begin to question whether Kohler was wrongly convicted.
William, a Harvard psychology professor is having trouble dealing with life after the death of his wife when he meets a beautiful woman named Ali. As their relationship grows, he begins to question her secretive past, which he discovers is linked to a series of murders that the police are investigating.
The story of a couple of bozos named Scott and Nick who try to bring Scott's girlfriend Stacey's favorite doll to life by practicing weird rituals. After that fails, the two give up, and later the doll suddenly comes to life all by itself. As it turns out, the doll is possessed by the devil (surprise, surprise) and it has the power to imitate anyone it sees or comes into contact with.
