Cortometraje semidocumental sobre la vida y costumbres de la antigua etnia Chipaya. Sebastiana Kespi, una niñ(😙)a pastora tiene, el papel protagónico, logrando una interpretación emocionante. La niñ(📃)a se interna en el prohibido pueblo vecino, el de los aymaras. Su abuelo la busca, intentando convencerla de regresar a su pueblo.Con este básico argumento Ruiz retrata la vida de los Chipayas, agricultura, creencias y costumbres, mitos, ritos, vivienda, etc. Al regresar el abuelo y la niña hacia su pueblo, el anciano cae y ha de morir abatido por el esfuerzo del rescate. Casi agónico, conmina a su nieta a dejarlo en la ruta y regresar a su aldea. El film tiene como epílogo el ritual del entierro del viejo, al cabo del cual Sebastiana vuelve a su pueblo
