A Melbourne family is very happy living where they do, near the Melbourne airport (according to Jane Kennedy, it�s �practically their back yard�). However, they are forced to leave their beloved home, by the Government and airport authorities. �The Castle� is the story of how they fight to remain in their house, taking their case as far as the High Court.
Hella is around 30 and works in a pharmacy. She is waiting for the right man to step into her life, but as she has a certain affinity for losers, she is kind of disillusionized. When she gets to know Levin, a dentist student who likes cars most, her dreams seem to come true. Levin has a very rich grandfather who likes her at first glance. The old man thinks of changing his last will to the condition that Levin has to marry Hella in order to inherit his fortunes. Like in a fairy-tale the door to a new life opens for Hella, but can she take it?

Is about a husband and wife’s attempt to rekindle some fire and passion back into their marriage. They decide to take a cruise, the classic last attempt for many desperate couples. While we see the couple slowly fall apart, the movie flashes back to how they met and fell in love. She was a nurse on a hospital ship in the Vietnam War and he was a wounded pilot. Her memories of their past love keep her hopes alive as her husband mopes around the ship. She decides to throw the jealousy card down to see if he takes the bait. Will their love survive the cruise? Every sex scene is accompanied by ghastly music.
