In "The Weapon,the Hour and the Motive" the murder victim is a priest.Father Giorgio is stabbed to death in his congregation church.Two police detectives Franco Boito and Moriconi investigate his murder.The main suspects are Giorgio's two lovers Giulia and Orchidea as he wanted to break up with both.There is also an orphaned boy who saw too much from his attic hideout and he will resolve the mystery.Overlooked Italian giallo stylishly made by Francesco Mazzei.There are some silly comedic moments and some effective shocks.The throat slashing scene is fairly graphic and there is a bit of nudity and sexual perversion.Mazzei is capable of building suspense pretty well too."The Weapon,the Hour and the Motive" deserves more 片　名 Les.Chiennes TV special, hosted by Jack Lemmon, which ran 90 minutes long and aired on February 24, 1973. In a Wizard of Oz-like spoof, Jack is knocked out by a broom in black and white and when he wakes up he finds himself in 'Arlenland' and with everything in color. He then begins a journey to find Harold Arlen and along the way he meets Diahann Carroll, Johnny Mathis, Dinah Shore, Cass Elliot, and Doc Severinsen who each perform various Harold Arlen songs. It stars Alec Guinness and Simon Ward. The original music score was composed by Mischa Spoliansky. Uneven and overlong but generally enjoyable thriller with tongue firmly in cheek, an engaging Hitchcockian premise, and plenty of action and stunts (as befits the rather misleading international title). Popular "Euro Cult" star Giuliano Gemma is a racing-car champ who suddenly finds himself embroiled in a murder case while at the same time pursued by thugs (from two different factions!) in search of a drug consignment; regular starlet Susan Scott (the director's wife) appears all-too-briefly as Gemma's shady lover and the murder victim involved. This movie is really good, It's got the (bud spencer/piedone) vibe, but rather than being totally slapstick like his other movies it has the 1970's police/italian/drama movie vibe, with little twist and turns that they police movies HAD, and in contrast with his other movies it has a dramatic background, Obviously there are more hardcore police movies, but this is a good begin for anyone, if anyone wants to watch them all, it's half lightheart half hardcore, needless to say if you no nothing about police B-movies and you watch "il Boss" right away, you might ned a shrink to get you out of the mode. But this is really passable While traveling in England, shy American Jenny Frifth is swept off her feet by charming Paul Tanner. Within days of meeting, the couple are married and living in Paul's isolated seaside home. However, Jenny begins to suspect Paul is keeping secrets from her; will she uncover his ruthless plans before it's too late?
