A group of students prepare for their college workshop play The Crucible. But a lead role meets his sudden, doubtful death with little time left for the performance. One day, theater doors are locked and the students disappear one by one during the rehearsal. They get into uncontrollable confusion.
Film portrays unimaginable daily lives of social outcasts in a unique rhythm. The city of Munich rents the old building, Annelie, and turns it into a welfare facility, in which the homeless and drug addicts make a long stay. When the city decides to tear down the building, the residents of Annelie try to protect the building and their effort drives the situation out of control.
18 frames back is about a young man, Luis, who wants to be a film editor. A dream that his father, a tailor with a lot of experience, does not understand because he wants his son to follow the family trade. Despite this, Luis tries to win a scholarship to study editing in Madrid but in this small shop we see how everything can change in one second, in 18 frames!
