When queen Victoria visits president Grant, the old and new world leaders brag and sneer, ending up to bet who can catch the Daltons first, her P.I. Sherlock Holmes or U.S. top-sleuth Lucky Luke. While the champions with opposite manners and methods play fair, Victoria follows in a cart with two guardsmen, which she orders to sabotage Lucky. Just when she snatches up Sherlock to rebuke him, that gets the whole British party kidnapped by the Daltons.. A darkly humorous search for love, meaning and bathroom solitude. Faithful to the cult novel by John Birmingham upon which it is based, the film follows Danny (Noah Taylor) through a series of shared housing experiences in a succession of cities on the east coast of Australia.
