It's about the love of a woman for a criminal who stays at the motel she owns. Well, it's a little more complicated than that, but it's an interesting plot. The movie, however,is poorly made, complete with lousy acting (Andress being an exception). Suspense is maintained throughout the movie, which is certainly a plus. Even amongst exploitation junkies "Ricco, the Mean Machine" doesn't get a lot of attention and that's a shame because it's a very sadistic, effective and all around excellent Italian Crime movie with lots of nudity. Ricco (Christopher Mitchum) is out to get his revenge on the crime lord that killed his father with the help of the very sexy Rosa (Melisa Longo).
