Director Amir Naderi's inspiration for making the film was one of his childhood heroes, the legendary Zar Mohammad, who waged a one-man war against four swindlers and provoked wide spread popular sentiment against tyranny. 中日(rì )混血(xuè )少女李红(hóng )龙(志穂美悦(yuè )子 饰)的(de )哥哥李万青(宮内洋 饰)表面上(❕)是一个(gè )所向披(🛒)靡(mí )的拳(quán )王,私(🔞)底(dǐ )下则是香港(📤)(gǎng )皇家警察派往(🍿)(wǎng )日本稽查毒品(👃)(pǐn )的(🧑)密探。但(👿)在某(🚳)次侦(❇)查(chá )时(🧚),李万(🏋)青(qī(🏎)ng )神秘失踪,香(✍)(xiāng )港(👐)警方万(wàn )般(🚢)无(wú(🔳) )奈,派李(lǐ )红(🍩)龙前(📭)往日本横滨(🌥)调查(🕛)。 This movie is really good, It's got the (bud spencer/piedone) vibe, but rather than being totally slapstick like his other movies it has the 1970's police/italian/drama movie vibe, with little twist and turns that they police movies HAD, and in contrast with his other movies it has a dramatic background, Obviously there are more hardcore police movies, but this is a good begin for anyone, if anyone wants to watch them all, it's half lightheart half hardcore, needless to say if you no nothing about police B-movies and you watch "il Boss" right away, you might ned a shrink to get you out of the mode. But this is really passable Nicholas Ray ended his Hollywood career with his most expensive production, 55 Days in Peking (1963), and followed it ten years later with his least expensive, an experimental and politically radical independent feature made with his film students. Each movie is a shambles, though if I had to choose between them I'd probably opt for this one, which is certainly the more original. Ray and his students play themselves in docudrama situations that culminate in Ray's (fictional) suicide, and often he combines several images into crowded frescoes. The film reeks of countercultural alienation and anguish, and when it premiered at Cannes in 1973, Ray spoke of trying to make "what in our minds is a Guernica" out of such materials as "a broken-down Bolex" and "a Mitchell that costs $25 out of navy surplus." He tinkered with the film for years, and the 1976 date commonly assigned to it refers to a second unfinished version, which, lamentably, is unavailable. It's upsetting in many ways, but as a document of its time there's nothing remotely like it. A twisted sleazebag stalks and strangles gorgeous women in this Spanish terror classic.
