'GHOSTED' tells a story of survival inside a British Prison. Jack a model prisoner, has kept his head down and done his time. After his wife confirms that she is leaving him, on the anniversary of their son's death, the only thing that keeps him from going under is the new prisoner, Paul. Jack's cell mate Ahmed, attempts to guide him on a path of salvation, a path that involves saving Paul from the clutches of the wing beast, Clay. Jack struggles between the curiosity of the head prison officer Donner, and the violent determination of clay, eventually saving Paul. As Jack and Paul finally accept each other, it soon becomes clear that Paul is not all he seems and may have a closer connection to Jack than he could ever imagine.
This is a road movie about two sisters who leave for their childhood home with their dead mother’s body. Pann is in shock and consumed by sadness after her mother comes to visit her and is suddenly killed in an accident at a shopping mall. Bullard asks Barnaby to investigate when friends' daughter Lucy Oliver goes missing after joining the Oblong Foundation,a new age group leasing a house from Ruth Lambert,whose parents died in an explosion on their boat. Dan Jones goes undercover as a new inductee and hears group leader Dominic Segal take a call implying there has been foul play. Local publicans the Powells tell Barnaby that Lucy argued with Oblong's directrix Freddie Raft before leaving but Ruth denies this. However it is discovered that Ruth's parents loaned a large sum of money to somebody,leading Barnaby to believe that they may have been murdered by the payee. If having his dog trained by Dr. Bullard's formidable sister was not enough he once more finds himself confronting a killer,the perpetrator of the Oblong murders.
At the Vietnamese hotel Hôi An, the hotel manager Markus Winter makes the acquaintance of the charming Nora. He is only too pleased to give her a tour of the country’s exotic beauty, all the while remaining unaware of her true intentions – she is a spy! Sent by Markus’ competition, Nora had been charged with snooping on his new and ecological hotel construction project. When he does discover her deception, he immediately breaks off all contact. Nora, however, having fallen in love with Markus, now hopes to wipe the slate clean and promises to fully support him in implementing his plans. Meanwhile Silke, another hotel guest, is disappointed to learn that her blind date in Vietnam with Guido, whom she had met online, has been postponed. The hotel resident Fabian, having gotten word of the ruined date, presents himself as Guido – which leads to an uncomfortable series of misunderstandings. The head chef Malte is struggling with difficulties of his own: his father has arrived at Hô(🚗)i An in an attempt to convince his son to return to Germany and take over his fast-food chain.
