Returning home with their discovery, the expedition members soon find themselves being killed off by a mummy, which can be revived by reading the words off the prince's burial shroud. A loner who works in a mannequin factory stalks and strangles women in Times Square. The magnificent French comic actor Louis de Funès demonstrates his talent in this French-Italian film.He plays Charles Bosquier- a grumpy principal of a reputable boys college.Bosquier always controls his students very strictly.His problems start when an exchange program sends an attractive 19 year-old girl to his college in order to spend the summer vacation there and learn more about the French culture.Bosquier's son falls in love with her and they run away.So,the principal is on the verge of madness and he starts chasing them. The film contains lots of funny scenes and humor and of course the superb acting of Louis de Funès.Honestly,the scenario has some weak points.Definitely,"Les Grandes vacances" is not one of the best films of Funès but it is worth seeing. When a high-school girl complains of her inability to reach sexual climax, her doctor suggests that she keep a diary of her sexual encounters. She does just that and soon finds herself caught up in a sexual merry-go-round that includes making a hardcore porno film in Sweden, an escapade with a German sadist and a lesbian encounter. The movie is unusual in that it has such a multinational cast and quite a bit of the movie is dubbed because of this. This didn't matter to say the least. However, it was interesting to see Adolfo Celi in the movie. In the process he has had a lot of troubles with social prejudices and becomes to have an anti-social sentiment. There are two women who like him: a daughter of a high class family Gyeong-hui, and Mi-suk who grew up in a poor condition like him. As he dates both women, he becomes dissatisfied with Geyong-hui because of her arrogance and more attracted by Mi-suk. In the end, he declares to marry Mi-suk. A wealthy couple who work in the entertainment industry decide to separate, but soon begin to miss each other.
