Pupil Tobias is a big Beatles fan. He knows everything about his favourite group. All the pieces of trivia he has collected seem to be pieces of a puzzle which lead to the only possible conclusion: Paul McCartney has died early and was replaced with a double by the band's management. Now Tobias has to communicate his findings.
A group of quirky, snowbound strangers discover there are killers amongst them.
The action of the movie is set in the late 11th century Constantinople during the time of the 1st Crusade. The crusaders need the help of the emperor Alexius to get to Jerusalem while the latter tries to do his best to get rid of the unwelcome guests. At the same time Caesar Nicephorus plays his own game and betrays his royal fiancée Anna Comnena while trying to win the heart of the beautiful countess Brigitta.

Caitlin Fairchild, is a teenager who is offered a place in an institute for gifted children. She soon learns that the school isn't really a school, but rather a military project to turn children with a special genetic structure into super soldiers. After developing incredibly enhanced abilities, Caitlin rebels against the program that created her. After an unpleasant run-in with a group of bikers, a young convenience store robber (Marc) gets approached by the same bikers to help out with a picnic. After the picnic, seeing he has guts, the bikers propose him for membership. As the story unfolds, Marc winds up questioning his own morality and wondering whether he's going down the wrong path. The biggest problem, however, is that one of his friends got him into trouble, and he has little time to fix it...
