In Victorian London, a beautiful young man is given a portrait of himself by an admiring artist. Soon after this, he treats a young woman cruelly and then notices that his portrait seems to look meaner than it used to. Eventually, he cannot endure the portrait and hides it in the attic. As the years pass, he becomes ever more unscrupulous and dissolute. His friends remark how he is as handsome as ever and never seems to age. But up in the attic, his picture becomes uglier with his sinful ways

TV special, hosted by Jack Lemmon, which ran 90 minutes long and aired on February 24, 1973. In a Wizard of Oz-like spoof, Jack is knocked out by a broom in black and white and when he wakes up he finds himself in 'Arlenland' and with everything in color. He then begins a journey to find Harold Arlen and along the way he meets Diahann Carroll, Johnny Mathis, Dinah Shore, Cass Elliot, and Doc Severinsen who each perform various Harold Arlen songs. Jack eventually finds Harold Arlen and the show ends with the song 'Over the Rainbow'.

A nurse is hired to take care of a mean, cantankerous woman. It turns out that the nurse and her boyfriend are after the woman's fortune. When the woman turns up dead in a bathtub full of blood the couple begin to search for the money, but they soon begin to suspect that the woman isn't really dead - or her ghost has come back to avenge her.
...I'll take this almost intolerably nasty 1972 Italian drive-in movie, which features Mark Lester (of OLIVER! fame) as a kidnap victim who gets into scrapes that, in their uncut version, would probably get this movie in Federal chickenhawk-busting trouble today. Franco Nero and Telly Savalas are the two conscienceless galoots who are the movie's anti-heroes; Savalas re-ups his giggling hillbilly cretin from THE DIRTY DOZEN, here caricatured to beyond a fare-thee-well. Savalas is the cherry on the cake of what may be the most remarkable set piece in all seventies Italian exploitation: calming a tourist family, packing them in their mobile home, then untethering the trailer and singing a gospel hymn as the terrified Germans plunge into the drink. If I'm not misremembering, there may be a little jig involved here as well.
