Tragedy of Korean War was unfolded through a boy's testimony. Although the boy saw and felt many things, he can not say anything. Dol-Yi, a 10-year-old-boy, was beloved as a mascot by soldiers when he lived near front. There was North Korean Army over the hill, it had nothing to do with him. But tragedy of the war came to Dol-Yi. What did he think about through the suffer from war and tragedy of the partition of the country?
During the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan about 3 million Afghans, who were mostly illegal immigrants, entered Iran; causing numerous problems for the Iranian society to accept them. This film is the story of a 17 year old rural girl by the name of Mahi, who comes from a war-stricken family in the southern Iran. Mahi falls in love with an Afghan student named Hairan, who has come to their village to work. But Mahi's family being strictly against her marriage to an Afghan, forces Mahi to choose one between her family and an Afghan lad.
The young son of a wealthy industrialist eschews the material pleasures of life and decides to enter the priesthood. His father wishes his son to follow in his footsteps and recruits his young girlfriend to help change his mind. The girl seduces the inexperienced lad, and he quickly falls prey to the material and sexual pleasures of the flesh. Father and son argue over the boy's future as the son agonizes about his fall into hedonism.
In 1936 Nazi Germany, a young,innocent apprentice, full of Olympic fever, leaves his rural village to see the ceremonies in Berlin. Upon arriving in the capitol, he meets a widow and a relationship blossoms.
