Told from the view of musician Nico, "Nesseltal' tells the story of a friend's 30th birthday weekend in a secluded mountain lodge in the alps. After the group falls out over an alcohol-fuelled argument, the story takes a turn for the worse. Not only has Nico disappeared but the group also find themselves confronted by a much more terrible secret that their unfortunate weekend destination holds.

Nalu is a teenager who needs to take care of her blind father after the death of her grandmother, who raised them as siblings in a modest house near Brazil/Uruguay border. The film brings in the collage of colours in a college, while exploring friendship, hatred, revenge, all blending into a family drama. The boy meets girl story revolves around Arjuna (Dilip Prakash), the son of a garage owner, studying in Achraya College. He meets Nandini (Ashika), the daughter of a rich businessman (Ravishankar). Both develop a liking for each other which irks Nandini's brother. The plot later takes a twist and explores Arjuna's past, finally leading to his struggle to win over Nandini.
