Oam begins to learn what life is like for an average person, while Somwung finds out that dark-side of fame, as people try to become famous by meeting him. The two slowly begin to realize that the only person you can be is yourself, but will they ever discover a way back into their original bodies? Dalziel almost witnesses a shooting which two witnesses claim was a beautiful woman trying to commit suicide by shooting herself in the face. He is convinced it is murder. Ironically, Dalziel and his suspect (Philip Swain) are cast in a cathedral mystery play as God and the devil, respectively.
