Prince Yeongsangon lusts after Ya-hwa wo rebuffs his advances. As a result, Ya-hwa's husband, Pil-woo, is branded a traitor and executed. Ya-hwa commits suicide by slitting her own throat. Pierre delves deeper into the mystery and has to fight off his own father's thugs while Georges and his associates squirrel the young woman off to an isolated country house.
