The night turns into one of smoldering passion, but after Michel disappears with some of her money, she tracks him down and learns the truth: He is a con artist who seduces and robs women. Instead of admonishing him or demanding her money back, though, love-struck Gloria asks if she can accompany him on his next grift. A girl and her brother needing to travel to their hometown some five hours from Tehran get a ride with a taxi-driver who also happens to be a mullah. On the wa,y they pick up another woman with a baby. In the course of conversation we learn that the girl worked as a nurse for an old man who had attempted to have a relationship with her, an advance that she rebuffed. Oddly enough the mullah believes her while her brother, fully aware of the old man's wealth, wants her to turn back. Appearances can be deceiving.
