Adapted from his autobiography, the film recounts the story of Hiroito, The King of Boca do Lixo (a region in downtown S?o Paulo of the fifties where various nightclubs, strip joints, prostitution, bars, and drugs can be found). Hiroito was a well born bohemian and at the age of 21 was accused for the murder of his father, who was violently stabbed over 40 times with a razor. Hiroito was not charged, however two months after the death of his father, Hiroito bought two guns and moved to Boca do Lixo and became one of the most dangerous criminals of the region.
When Elliott Davis (Gunther Brandl) checks in to the Desdemona Hotel for one night, we gather that he is a friendly insurance agent. All he wants is some peace and quiet and he achieves this however not easily by the bizarre hotel personnel and the strange room. Elliott has a cold and experiences endless nightmares in which strange visions appear. The odd Nathan (Martin Eherer) and the obscure Regina (Carolina Rath) appear tempting Elliott into further doubt. Is the doubt becoming enflamed? Or is everything out of reality? Who is this nearly sympathetic Grzegorz (Vlasto Peyitch) with the butcher's knife?The question is soon answered because it marks only the beginning of what is to come. With every minute Elliott is pulled into a pull of surrealism. The lines between reality and fiction blur. Elliott is on a journey through his deep thoughts. Thoughts that perhaps want to be set free...

A group of investigators enter the former property of depraved serial killer John Wayne Gacy, hoping to find evidence of paranormal activity. Upon entering the place they set-up cameras throughout the abandoned house while going room to room with hand-held cameras, performing séances and asking for John Wayne Gacy to come forward. As the evening progresses it seems the investigators are not prepared for the horror still within the house.
