Der Südtiroler Bergsteiger und Schauspieler Luis Trenker ist bereits ein bekannter Mann, als er die ehrgeizige, junge Ausdruckstänzerin Leni Riefenstahl bei Dreharbeiten des Bergfilm-Pioniers Arnold Fanck kennen und lieben lernt.
