On her engagement trip with her fiancee, the novelist Mun-ho, Yeon-ji is unable to resist giving herself to Dong-wu, Mun-ho's friend. When he sees a hickey on Yeon-ji's neck, Mun-ho is deeply distressed and the two break up. But when Mun-ho gets in a car accident, Yeon-ji is by his side with sincere tears of love in her eyes and they get married. Meanwhile, Dong-wu asks Eun-ju, the daughter of a conglomerate chairman, for help but she refuses him. Dong-wu hangs around Yeon-ji. Mun-ho and Yeon-ji's finances are shaken when their publishing business fails. Dong-wu asks Yeon-ji for a large sum of money. One day, Yeon-ji lures Dong-wu out into the woods where she stabs him. Having witnessed this, Mun-ho forgives Yeon-ji of her past and they share a long embrace in the rain.
Travis is an underground comic book artist with a penchant for the obscene. When one of his comics insults a Chinatown crime boss, the gangster punishes Travis by removing his drawing hand. A daunted Travis retreats into a life of alcoholic misery. That is, until his hand returns from the grave...

Synopsis：A forty-year old who lived a comfortable life in the Soviet Union, ends up in Georgia in the difficult condition of having to adapt to change. She is granted a loan at a high interest rate and little by little becomes drowned in debt, trapped in a vicious circle that she can’t get out of.
