À quelques semaines de l’élection présidentielle, le Pré(🔍)sident de la Ré(😯)publique sortant, Jean-François Vanier, est au plus bas dans les sondages. Chef de file du plus puissant parti de gouvernement, il cherche une planche de salut. Evie (Tegan Crowley) and her fellow survivors become separated from her husband John (Scott Marcus). Evie refuses to leave John behind against the wishes of the group. The survivors revolt and abandon Evie to an uncertain fate. With the unexpected arrival of Charlie (Steven Kennedy) what appears to be an opportunity at a new beginning quickly turns to horror as menacing as the infected that pursue them. A woman who lost her lover and hope, struggles with herself and lives in pain everyday, but finally decides to keep on living. A young couple in New York locks themselves into a kind of childlike romantic fantasy, with the city as their playground. When reality begins slipping inside their world, the relationship begins to sour, until it collapses under its own weight. For the remainder of the film, the young man attempts to recreate this type of codependent fantasy existence with whomever he can, with increasingly perverse & disturbing results.
