I got this under the title SPECIAL SQUAD SHOOTS ON SIGHT. I've been slowly watching this movie over the past year in 5 minute increments and I finally finished it tonight. It is a Turkish/Italian co production starring the perfectly named Tony Tiger (real name Irfan Atasoy) as a reporter/part time cop/hypnotist (!) who is blackmailed into working for some small time crooks led by Gordon Mitchell, who sounds like Popeye in this. The gang's goal is to steal a mystical Golden Buddha with the help of Tony's hypnotic powers. The film is needlessly convoluted, with mysterious phone calls where you don't know who is on the other end and characters popping up that you have no idea who they are. It also doesn't help that Tony and the other male lead (a cop whose name I have already forgotten) look almost exactly the same.

Mr Hoffman sells books and provides his female customers with nice moments in a room at the back of the shop. The number of female customers grows very rapidly and when Mr Hoffman isn’t up th the demand, he calls in his two oldest sons who keep the shop going. Unfortunately his youngest son is only interested in reading. One day, as he delivers books to one of the customers, the lady teaches him about the pleasures of sex. In order to celebrate this, the father organises a party and all is well that ends well
Paramount Pictures shelved this Italian action film (which is heavy on the drama) that features John Saxon in a suporting role as a cop bend on arresting a blind mafia boss Lee J. Cobb. The film too busy focus on the bank robbers and a newspaper guy Renzo Palmer instead of Saxon's plot which is a misfire to all Saxon fans. The photography and the location is wonderful, but the plot is very extremely slow. Not recommended for someone looking for action films.
