Going through the filmmography of Jess Franco is never an easy thing because not only do you have to go through more than 200 movies but you've also got to go through countless alternate versions. Sometimes films can have four or five alternate versions with newly shot scenes, alternate footage or footage thrown in from another director. In 1974 Franco made a film called EXORCISM, which was a very dark mix of sex, religion and violence. It was also released in a softer version under the title DEMONIAC and another version with XXX footage called SEXORCISMS. Then, in 1979, Franco took footage from EXORCISM and added a new plot around them and the end result is this film, THE SADIST OF NOTRE DAME.

The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie is basically a collection of Warner Bros. short cartoon features, "starring" the likes of Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Wile.E.Coyote. These animations are interspersed by Bugs Bunny reminiscing on past events and providing links between the individual animations which are otherwise unconnected. The Road Runner feature at the end consists of sketches from various RR separates (well it does in the 78-minute version anyway).

All the lights are gone in New York during a citywide power failure.Four dangerous criminals escape from the prison bus and hide in a posh apartment building owned by wealthy Ray Milland.The convicts begin to terrorize the residents and it's up to Jim Mitchum to stop the orgy of violence and abuse...I haven't seen Eddy Matalon's tedious "Cathy's Curse" yet,but "Blackout" is a pretty tense exploitation thriller.The action is exciting and the cast is impressive.The few scenes of violence are quite hard-hitting.If you are into 70's gritty and washed out excursions into urban paranoia give "Blackout" a chance.This obscure flick deserves to be seen.8 blackouts of 10.
