The end of 1940s is in extreme chaos of ideology. Park Nam-Pyo, a leader of the communist party in South Korea, is assassinated during his address in a lecture meeting. Inspector Park arrests Jung-Kwon as the criminal. Kwon is released thanks to the plot of the party's underground organization but is executed by the party. After that Hong Jeong-Kyu, a convert from communism, is assassinated again and Hwang Cheon-Il, the assassin, is caught. When the case gets into the climax, the communist party under pressure assassinate chief officer Kim. Franco Nero and Telly Savalas are the two conscienceless galoots who are the movie's anti-heroes; Savalas re-ups his giggling hillbilly cretin from THE DIRTY DOZEN, here caricatured to beyond a fare-thee-well. Savalas is the cherry on the cake of what may be the most remarkable set piece in all seventies Italian exploitation: calming a tourist family, packing them in their mobile home, then untethering the trailer and singing a gospel hymn as the terrified Germans plunge into the drink. When Yong-cheol, a customer, sees this, he is outraged and tries to beat up the gangsters, but he is overwhelmed by their numbers. The gangsters cut off Yong-cheol's leg to teach him a lesson. Park and a young boy assist Yong-cheol in forging a new leg out of iron to use as a weapon to defeat the gangsters. TV special, hosted by Jack Lemmon, which ran 90 minutes long and aired on February 24, 1973. In a Wizard of Oz-like spoof, Jack is knocked out by a broom in black and white and when he wakes up he finds himself in 'Arlenland' and with everything in color. He then begins a journey to find Harold Arlen and along the way he meets Diahann Carroll, Johnny Mathis, Dinah Shore, Cass Elliot, and Doc Severinsen who each perform various Harold Arlen songs.
