上帝(dì )在天庭召(zhào )见群臣，魔(mó )鬼靡非斯特也如(⛔)约而(ér )至。上帝问(wèn )起浮士德(dé )的情况，靡非斯特说浮(fú )士德欲望(wàng )无(wú )穷，什么(me )也不能使(🌞)他满(mǎn )足，最终(zhōng )必将堕落(luò )。而上帝却坚信浮士德虽然在追求(qiú )中难免有(yǒu )失误，但理性和智慧会(huì )让他找到(dào )有(yǒ(🔒)u )为的道路(lù )。靡非斯特不(bú )以为然，自信能引(yǐn )诱(yòu )浮士德走向堕落。为此(cǐ )他与上帝(dì )打(🎠)赌，上(shàng )帝(dì )便将浮士德交给了他(tā )。此时的浮(fú )士德已是(shì )一个年过半百的老者，闷在阴(🍚)暗(àn )的(de )书斋内，痛惜自己博览(lǎn )群书，却(què )丝毫不能(néng )济(jì )世救民，想一死了之。教堂复活(huó )节的钟声(shēng )把他引到郊外，欣(🦎)欣向(xiàng )荣的大自(zì )然(rán )和自由欢(huān )乐的人群使他(tā )深受鼓舞(wǔ )，重新唤(huàn )回(huí )了生的念(🐒)头。他把一条(tiáo )黑狗带回(huí )书斋，黑(hēi )狗(gǒu )现出人形，那便是魔(mó )鬼靡非斯特(tè )。浮士德(dé )向(💻)他诉说了受尘世束缚(fù )不能有所(suǒ )作(zuò )为的痛苦(kǔ )，魔鬼答应做(zuò )浮士德的(de )仆人，让(ràng )他(tā )重新开始人生，条件是一旦(⭕)浮士(shì )德感到满(mǎn )足，说出“你真美呀，请停留一(yī )下(xià )！”这句(jù )话，他的灵魂(hún )即为魔鬼(guǐ )所(💚)有，来(lái )生(shēng )做魔鬼的仆人。浮士德(dé )根本不相(xiàng )信所谓“来(lái )生”，便与魔鬼立下(xià )了契约。靡(🎊)(mí )非斯特把(bǎ )外套变成一朵浮云，载(zǎi )着浮士德(dé )周(zhōu )游世界。他们先到莱普(pǔ )齐的一家(jiā )酒店，参(cān )加(jiā )了一些无聊(💩)大学生的胡闹，浮士(shì )德对此毫(háo )无兴趣。他跟着魔鬼来(lái )到“魔女(nǚ )之(zhī )厨”，魔(mó )鬼想用爱(🎛)情引(yǐn )诱他。面(miàn )对魔镜中(zhōng )的(de )美女，浮士德心有所动(dòng )，喝下了(le )魔女的药(yào )汤(tāng )，变成了青(👲)春焕发的(de )少年。在(zài )教(jiāo )堂前，他(tā )邂逅了美丽的少女玛甘(gān )泪，立刻(kè )爱(ài )上了她。

Wealthy author Ajay Pandit befriends angry and poor Deva, who lives in the nearby slums with his widower father. After the two men grow up, Ajay falls in love with Sonali, while Deva continues to live a life of destitution. After the local Poojary poisons potable water,leading to many deaths, Deva beats him up, and is awarded. Shortly thereafter, Deva himself will be on the run from the police; his father will be arrested for possession of arms and ammunition; and Ajay will find himself arrested and prosecuted for hiding Deva. Ajay and Deva are destined to meet again - not as friends - but as enemies.
