Cortometraje semidocumental sobre la vida y costumbres de la antigua etnia Chipaya. Sebastiana Kespi, una niña pastora tiene, el papel protagónico, logrando una interpretación emocionante. La niña se interna en el prohibido pueblo vecino, el de los aymaras. Su abuelo la busca, intentando convencerla de regresar a su pueblo.Con este básico argumento Ruiz retrata la vida de los Chipayas, agricultura, creencias y costumbres, mitos, ritos, vivienda, etc. Al regresar el abuelo y la niña hacia su pueblo, el anciano cae y ha de morir abatido por el esfuerzo del rescate. Casi agónico, conmina a su nieta a dejarlo en la ruta y regresar a su aldea.
