A large multinational company is shaken by the suicide of three employees. The company sends a directive, Sofia Cuevas, to conduct an internal investigation. Stranded at an airport at Christmastime, Ashley Harrison accepts a ride from Dash Sutherland, who has just rented the last car in town. January is forced to return home after six years traveling abroad. A near-fatal accident has left her temporarily wheelchair bound and depleted of her long-term memory.
