2 is a short-lived science fiction television series which aired on NBC from November 6, 1994 to June 4, 1995.[1] The show was canceled after one season of 22 episodes.[2] It followed the journey and settlement of a small expeditionary group called the Eden Project, with the intent to journey to an Earth-like planet called G889 in an attempt to find a cure to an illness called the Syndrome. The series was created by Michael Duggan, Carol Flint, Mark Levin, and Billy Ray, produced by Amblin Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Studio,[3] and filmed primarily in northern New Mexico around the Santa Fe area.[4][5] The series' music was composed by David Bergeaud, and the executive producers were Michael Duggan, Mark Levin, and Carol Flint. SYNOPSIS Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, after finishing making invation to send to their relitives leave to audition for the town play; "Pilgrims Adventures in a New Land". Alvin trying the Lead, Simon trying for Lighting and Sound director, and Theodore Trying for the Costume Desiner. How ever the Director of the play feels that to celebrate the pilgrims story of adventure, the boys should branch out and try new pistions. Wealthy author Ajay Pandit befriends angry and poor Deva, who lives in the nearby slums with his widower father. After the two men grow up, Ajay falls in love with Sonali, while Deva continues to live a life of destitution. After the local Poojary poisons potable water,leading to many deaths, Deva beats him up, and is awarded. Shortly thereafter, Deva himself will be on the run from the police; his father will be arrested for possession of arms and ammunition; and Ajay will find himself arrested and prosecuted for hiding Deva.
