But once he gets there, the kid tells him he is getting a big time agent and that he is fired. Despondent, the agent roams the countryside until he loses control of his car and overturns into a pond where he seemingly is going to drown until a pair of gigantic hands pulls him free of the car. Later he awakens in a monastery and discovers that a 7-1/2' man (NBA player Gheorge Muresan) rescued him. Money dances in front of the agent as he figures ways to get him back to America and into the movies. The giant is only interested in getting to Gallup to see his childhood girl friend. First the agent gets him a small role in the Romanian-filmed movie which earns his plane fare. Then he takes him to Las Vegas where he convinces Steven Seagal (in a cameo as himself) to include the giant in a new action film. When Ravi is falsely accused of murdering a woman, and sentenced to 12 years of prison, Manohar Singh's wife Renuka (Moushumi Chatterjee) assures him that she will take care of Rohan. 12 years later, when Ravi comes out of prison, he finds out that Renuka is not alive, and Rohan's whereabouts are unknown. Rohan, in the meantime, has been adopted by famous Lawyer Gujral (Saeed Jaffrey), and his wife Yashoda (Reema Lagoo), and is now known as Vasudev Gujral, a lawyer by profession. Vasudev falls in love with Payal Singh (Karisma Kapoor), who happens to be Manohar Singh's daughter. Ravi finds out that Renuka is alive but her memory is diminished. He starts medical treatment for Renuka. To earn the needed money, he accepts a contract to kill Vasudev Gujral, little knowing that he is about to kill his own long-separated brother. Adrien Williams enters the "in crowd" when she is hired by a posh East Coast country club and befriended by Brittany Foster, the charismatic leader of a clique of wealthy college students who are home for the summer. Brittany takes Adrien under her wing, attempts to show her the benefits of the good life and introduces her to other members of her inner circle, including the object of Brittany's affection, tennis pro Matt Curtis. When Matt shows an interest in Adrien, Brittany begins to reveal her dark side and Adrien slowly starts to learn that Brittany and her pack of friends will do anything to protect their circle and the dark secrets they harbor. Lem's traveling-band bus stops in a small town, where he immediately takes up with the boys in the town and decides to stay, even getting a job at a general store that has a large candy counter that is popular with the boys. Then at the town meeting, he suggests the town needs a scout troup, and volunteers his service as scout master, and the town gleefully accepts. He takes a special interest in Whitey, a troubled boy (Kurt Russell) with an alcoholic father, who wants nothing to do with the scouts, and whom he later catches breaking into the general store. Lem eventually turns the boy around, and marries the pretty bank clerk, and they take in Whitey when his father dies. He considers resigning from the Scout Leader position, and Whitey considers running away, after an incident on a cliff when the boy is put in charge of the troup. Years pass and the original troop members become adults, and a new set of boys are accidently caught up in some military war games. And Lem subsequently ages, and is honored for his service. After learning his girlfriend, Kim (Taylor), is cheating on him, an under-grad college student, Trips (Rudd), sends a breakup letter to her with a fake "used" condom and a topless picture of him and his stripper friend, Ivy (Witherspoon). After learning he was wrong, he tries to stop the letter. He has to face a hostage situation, a psychotic delivery man, and many miles to drive to his girlfriend with Ivy.
