A journalist decides to discover the whereabouts of Dulce Veiga (a singer/actress who was a bombshell back in the 1960s and mysteriously disappeared), without realizing how much he would have to learn about himself in order to find her.
A very low-keyed film, with doses of comedy, about a young man Alex, who returns to Montreal after a five year absence. The film follows his relationship with Alya, the girlfriend of his best friend Arto, as well as with his neighbour Anne and her two children.

The alcoholic owners of Dreamytime Escorts are approached by hit-man Mr Jolly,to 'take out' radio quiz host Nicholas Parsons. Parsons is due to open an off-licence owned by Heimie Henderson but Henderson has fallen foul of gangster Lovebucket who hopes to stop the opening by killing the star. The two escorts misinterpret the instruction to kill Mr Parsons and,instead,take him out for a night of drinking,using the blood money they were given.
