Set in 1961 Goa, this is a story of a rich and influential Goan family and what happens to them over a period of time. The movie is narrated in past-tense by one of the friends of the family.
Marilyn is found dead one morning on her own swing in the attic of the apartment building. The investigating officer quickly concludes she was murdered. He has only one day to solve the case and by doing so has a chance to get a glimpse of the lives of the other residents.
After the death of her husband, a woman tries to get on with her life, but during a business trip she spots him alive and comes to realize that he faked his death.
