The film is based on the biography of the legendary Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova.
Captain Thanu Ajhan is haunted by a shameful memory from a war in Laos: back in 1971, he abandoned Sergeant Sommai Muangsap when he was surrounded by enemy soldiers. Years later Thanu's career has progressed: he is now the most reputed crime detective in Thailand, earning himself the nickname 'The Black Hands'.
