The youngest sister Melanie, and her boyfriend Layne are in a codependent relationship. Sanguine and her boyfriend are dreamers, together in a long distance relationship. The oldest sister Phyllis can be described as a modern day feminist who doesn't have time for a relationship yet constantly remembers Josh, her childhood love. The three sisters represent 3 temperaments used in psychology.
When a young woman is found lying in the street, savagely beaten and near daeth, she's taken to a big city hospital where two young doctors try to save her life. As she recovers, she refuses to talk about it, as she fears the gangster who was responsible will come after her again.
