Rick is a 17-year-old golden boy whose father wants him to became a doctor like himself. Lonnie is a problematic 16-year-old girl, who has just come out from a sanatorium after an attempted suicide. The families of both teens are very close friends. Right away, Lonnie and Rick fall strongly in love for each other. Meanwhile Rick becomes aware that his father betrays his mother, so he begins to show his uneasiness at home and do odd things. Thinking Lonnie's the reason of his son's behaviour, Rick's father forbids him to see her anymore. After an unsuccessful getaway the two adolescents realize their love is impossible, therefore they decide to commit suicide. From then onwards both o their families are destroyed, and their friendship as well. It'll be hard to reconstruct the family and retrieve the friendship. Stryker, a former soldier arrives in the small Texas town of Aqua Dulce to visit his friend Tick Rand. Things good well till a biker gang who call themselves the "Savages" cause problems and later on take over the town. Director Jeffrey Lau, credited here as China Chung, begins the film with a 'documentary' segment focusing on the insane folks who inhabit the streets of Hong Kong. Our antagonist fits nicely among them, because he is shamelessly crazy. Any chance he may have at a semi-normal relationship with one girl he meets is dashed when he takes her on a metal-crunching daredevil car ride after first meeting her, then goofily harasses her at her apartment door the following day when she refuses to let him in. At night the guy cruises the streets of Hong Kong in his cab, grabbing a woman now and again to knock unconcious and carry to his apartment where he hacks them up, then has sex with them. He displays his victim's parts in plastic cases, and prances around his apartment in ecstasy looking at them. He shoots pictures of it all and casually takes the photos to be developed at the corner store.
