With the passing away of Rajesh's parents, Jagatram undertakes to look after him. He hopes that some day Rajesh will marry his daughter Rekha. He arranges Rajesh's employment with a local hostel, which Rajesh accepts. After being employed, Rajesh finds that his male students are distracted and unable to concentrate on their studies. He decides to investigate further, and finds out that they visit a prostitute named Chandni regularly. He puts a stop to this. And then Jagatram finds out that Rajesh has been frequenting Chandni's place almost every night, under the unbelievable pretext of teaching her to read and write. Historical drama based on the life of King Yeong-chin, the last Korean monarch. When he was a small child, Korea was annexed by Japan and th young prince was forcefully taken to Japan and raised in the emporer's court. When he was older, he married a Japanese princess but he was not allowed to return to Korea even after the allies freed it or during the Korea War due to political considerations. McEnery is perfect as Conan Doyle's dashing French hussar, prancing through Napoleon's Peninsular campaign with one hand on hip and the other courting disasters averted only by his sublime insouciance. Not all the gags work, but enough do to make this something of a welcome - and exquisitely photographed - treat.
