Akira's is a musician who's life is falling into a crack of drug addiction after his girlfriend Mari's suicide. Kana always loved Akira and tries to help him overcome Mari's death. Shinya is a friend who seeks the cause of Mari's suicide and ends up in conflict with Akira, who is now violent, unstable, and trying to break everything around him, including himself.
After the death of her husband, Lilia's life revolves solely around her teenage daughter, Salma. Whilst looking for Salma late one night, Lilia stumbles upon a belly dance cabaret and though initially reserved and taken aback by the culture of the place, Lilia gets consistently drawn back to it. She befriends one of the belly dancers and is encouraged into dancing for the audience. Lilia also starts a romance with one of the cabaret's musicians, who unbeknown to both of them, is also romancing Salma.

Everything changes when Paule robs 18-year-old Julia and falls in love with her. He follows her and gives her back the things he stole from her, pretending to be older than he really is. The girl, who has enjoyed a sheltered upbringing, soon feels equally attracted to Paule, his cheeky charm, and the exciting world he inhabits. But when Arnel is tortured by his cousin's gang and severely injured, she realizes how dangerous and alien that world is. Paule, too, is drawn ever deeper into the conflict between his old life and the life he dreams of. Paule puts up a struggle, but in the end this conflict leads him into a catastrophe with fatal consequences.
