A Manic depressive artist survives a suicidal fall only to be possessed by a murdered gangster, who uses the artist to seek vengeance on those that ended his life. This was one of the very first VHS tapes I hunted down. Here we have what I consider the worst film of all time. Not only is it shot on video, but the editing, padding, acting, etc. are absolutely awful. There is no part of this film of any value other than the nostalgia it brings 25 years later. The cover is classic, with Ms. Alden decked out in her nurse outfit lifting a knife with a grin across her face. This is one of the very few slipcases released from Video City Productions (most were released as clamshells) and also bares the awesome “Chop ‘em Ups” logo. But what I find so interesting is that Millard was actually able to find someone to release this thing. Silvio Oliviero stars in the quirky role of nocturnal New York cabbie Stephen -- who just happens to be a 350-year-old vampire. Into his clutches falls lovely music-video director Michelle (Helen Papas), a terminally ill woman seeking a passionate one-night stand. Her condition undergoes a remarkable change after Stephen puts the bite on her, claiming her as his undead bride -- much to the chagrin of her jealous husband, who sets out to destroy her immortal lover. Director Gerard Ciccoritti employs modern-day vampire conventions (particularly some startling gore effects) with pleasing results, but it's the film's well-rounded characters who set it apart from the standard direct-to-video exploitation fare. Unfortunately, too heavy a reliance on trite MTV-style window dressing prevents this from achieving true cult-classic status. A serial killer is terrifying the prostitutes in a big Italian city. After few barbaric murdering four prostitutes Lena, Angela, Nadine and Stella decide to unify and try to self-defend themselves. The police and all the other prostitutes agree with the four and the hunting is open. It is the story of GASP, an underground punk rock band, and their attempt to get a recording contract and attain stardom. The story follows To-y Fujii, lead singer of GASP, and his attempts not to sell out during his rise through the recording industry. The story also follows To-y's growing relationship with Niya, who find comfort in one another while they are shunned by mainstream society.
