Next, the happy, middle-class life of a lawyer and his loving wife (Eva Ling), and the lawyer's police detective friend (Stephen Leung) is shown in all its idyllic routine. Then the innocent wife witnesses the sadomasochist kill a woman, and testifies in court to his guilt. In revenge, the son's wealthy father hires the scum of Hong Kong to murder the wife, raping her beforehand. That deed sets off the next revenge sequence, as the husband and his police buddy run amok, gangsters run amok, and the blood runs all over the place as well. One of the greatest jazz trumpeters of all time, Dizzy Gillespie dazzled the world with his talent as one of the pioneers of be-bop and Latin jazz, but with his puffed-out cheeks, bent trumpet and quick wit, he also was a great showman. The widow Elena Palumbo is the mother of two sons, Francesco and Paolo, who live with their mother on a farm they run. However, their land serves, for construction speculation, to Roberto De Michelis, willing to do anything to become its owner. After forbidding his daughter Angela to attend Paolo, whom she is in love with, De Michelis does not hesitate to have the latter killed, who in the meantime has enlisted in the Carabinieri and is on duty in Naples . Arriving to know the identity of the instigator of his brother's death, Francesco decides to avenge the death of Paul at all costs.
