After undergoing psychiatric treatment in his teens following his encounter with his now deceased grandmother Corrine Foxworth, Bart Sheffield has become the sole heir of Corrine's estate. He has rebuilt Foxworth Manor where he is living, and has legally changed his last name from Sheffield to Foxworth. The estate is legally being managed by Bart's father, Christopher Sheffield, until Bart turns twenty-five as stipulated in Corrine's will. Bart brings together his entire family to celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday, at which time an extra clause in Corrine's will is to be read as per her instructions. The family includes: his parents Chris and Cathy Sheffield, whose incestuous relationship Bart is aware; his older brother and his wife, Jory and Melodie Marquet, who are both renowned ballet dancers; and his adopted younger teenaged sister, Cindy Sheffield, who is openly exploring her sexuality. Bart has pushed his family away since his psychiatric treatment, most specifically Chris, who, as not his biological parent, he no longer wants in his life, and Cindy, who he has never viewed as his sister and thus a member of the family. An incident at the birthday leads to the entire family needing to stay longer at Foxworth Manor. Bart has become religiously fanatical, much like his great-grandparents, Malcolm and Olivia Foxworth, who he secretly idolizes. The spirit of Malcolm lives through Bart, who tries to dictate what happens with and to his family, as he has a warped view of the female gender based on his parents' relationship, and as he reconciles his own animal urges against his/Malcolm's religious beliefs. A strange gentleman appears in front of the both of them who are sick of failing at these auditions and suggests something to them. Meanwhile, Ayaka comes to Korea with her best friend Saori to meet her fiancé, Min-joon's parents. She runs into Dong-hyeon and Yong-joon who ask her to star in something and although she's not up for it, she's ushered into doing it by Shiori who loves handsome men. They move locations to a run-down facility and suddenly all exits are blocked and the four of them are trapped. Ayaka looks for an exit but instead finds cameras put up everywhere and gets the feeling that they are being watched. She suspects Yong-joon and Dong-hyeon of being behind this. Suddenly, young men overdosed with gas appear out of no where and try to rape Ayaka and Shiori. Dong-hyeon and Yong-joon fight them to save the women. All this is recorded live and sent to a crowd who is watching from a theater,enjoying it. Yong-joon and Shiori escape into another room but soon they are gassed and they suddenly want each other so bad. Then Shiori loses her mind and kills Yong-joon. Min-joon is watching this amongst the crowd at the theater. What happened between Ayaka and Min-joon...? Yoon-seok, Sang-woo, Won-seon and Ho-young are four best friends who live in Susaek, a poor town of Seoul. With a landfill nearby, Susaek reeks of the trucks bringing the city’s garbage. When Korea is chosen to hold the 2002 World Cup, Susaek is mentioned as the location for the new soccer stadium. Greedy entrepreneurs crowd into town and the locals get excited, hoping for urban renewal and redevelopment. When Won-seon is recruited by a local gang and gets involved in the redevelopment business, Sang-woo becomes jealous.
