A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right? Nancy Allen plays an investigative news reporter Jillian Gray, who, along with her daughter is kidnapped by white slave king Cicero, after getting too close with her investigation. Now that she has escaped, she seeks revenge on Cicero. A star studded biography of Brazilian legend Leila Diniz, born in 1945 to a communist couple (Tony Ramos and Marieta Severo). She grows up to be an extraordinary woman in her own, undefinable, and unique style, unheard of in Brazilian society. She causes the greatest scandals of her times and breaks social taboos through her association with her best friend (Diogo Vilela), and enters show business, working with several lovers (Paulo Cesar Grande, Carlos Alberto Riccelli, Jose Wilker) becoming Brazil's greatest star. She achieves this in spite of arrests, prison sentences and other threats from the military government who regarded her as subversive.
