Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). Years later, the schoolgirl has become a promiscuous young woman (Ann-Margret) and she pursues him and sucks him into an on-again-off-again romantic tryst where she pulls the strings. "Kitten with a Whip - Italian Style!" This comedic political satire lampoons Russian communist leader Josef Stalin and ridicules the brief period of communism in Italy following World War II. The leader has sex on a bedspread with his own likeness. A hammer and sickle, along with a swastika, is prominently displayed on the posterior of his lovely mistress. The film continues with a series of sight gags, puns and short sketches with some brief interludes of female nudity. Complications arise and Holmes meets several historical characters including ex-President Theodore Roosevelt, portrayed by Claude Akins, and Lillie Langtry, played by Jenny Seagrove. He also encounters the fictional character A. J.
