真心遇上大冒险

A couple of young university students decide to spend the day in Toledo, in order to forget a little of the routine in which they are. At nine o'clock in the morning, José Luis waits at the Atocha station for his girlfriend, Mari Carmen. The couple has deceived their families, who have told that they will eat in the Faculty. The journey is eternal and the stay in the city, rather than surprise them, as they expected, immerses them, even more, in the monotony in which they live. Without friends, without relatives and without university partners, the couple will spend twelve hours in Toledo, half a day of tenderness in the rain and the December sun that will help them to know themselves better. In the spring of 1944 an RAF Mosquito Squadron are ordered to attack a German rocket fuel plant in Norway. The mission involves flying up a heavily defended fjord and bombing a cliff overhang in an attempt to bury the factory, which is built into the rock. The city of Thebes has come under the cruel domination of Sparta. Diomedes and several of his friends strive to throw off the Spartan yoke even while Diomedes romances Dorida, daughter of the Theban governor who's collaborating with Sparta. "The Hour of Crimson Rose" is a sweet, old-fashioned, time-travel story. A young girl of 1960's Warsaw, is travel through time, by the power of magic clock. She's send to late XIX-century Warsaw, and has to verify her point of view about history and human relationship. Adaptation of a book "for a nice girls", by director Halina Bielinska, came up with funny, nice-to-watch picture, with "old-movies" look and feeling. Starring Elzbieta Czyzewska, former bright polish movie star, and Lucyna Winnicka (starred in a few Jerzy Kawalerowicz movies). Note that "The Hour of Crimson Rose" is a black-and-white movie.
